| The Volunteer Ministers of Port Elizabeth are bringing their message that “Something CAN be done about it!” to every town in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. |
The Volunteer Ministers of Port Elizabeth, South Africa kicked off their 2006 activities with a seminar where they decided to bring the Volunteer Ministers tent to towns throughout the Eastern Cape Province, from Knysna to Plettenberg Bay, Bathurst, Graaf-Reine, Koega, Motherwell, Summerstrand and Walmer.
Located at the southern tip of South Africa, the Volunteer Ministers of the Church of Scientology of Port Elizabeth are helping their home town live up to its reputation for warmth and hospitality that earned it the nickname of “The Friendly City.” They do this by providing effective technology from the Scientology Handbook that helps people improve communication, resolve conflicts and strengthen relationships.
Having found that drug abuse and crime are the most major concerns of the community, the Port Elizabeth Volunteer Ministers distribute anti-drug booklets, conduct anti-drug marches, assist schools on drug awareness campaigns, and work the local police departments to train their staff on communication skills.
With effective tools developed by Scientology founder
L. Ron Hubbard, the Port Elizabeth Volunteer Ministers intend to bring the message of their motto — that “Something CAN be done about it!” — to every community in the Eastern Cape In 2006.
